About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Furuhöjden, you play a crucial role in meeting patients who are in an early and acute stage after neurological diseases, orthopedic surgeries, or surgery. The work is done in close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants to jointly plan and implement individual assessments, rehabilitation plans, and training efforts.

As an occupational therapist, you assess the patient's/guest's functional and ADL abilities and collaboratively plan an individual rehabilitation plan for their stay. You train and guide our guests, both individually and in groups. The tasks also include social planning, prescribing aids, contacting external parties, documentation, and writing various certificates.

In addition to the usual tasks for occupational therapists, you also participate in the patient's daily care and other recurring tasks such as assisting the patient with hygiene, transfers, and similar activities. For us, this way of working is an opportunity to see each individual's needs.

About You

We are looking for someone who has completed the 4th semester of the occupational therapy program or is a licensed occupational therapist. Requirements:

• Completed the 4th semester of the occupational therapy program
• Experience in rehabilitation
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation
• Experience with TakeCare
• System knowledge in LifeCare SP

Additional Information

This role is a summer temporary position with some flexibility regarding working hours. You will work weekdays as an occupational therapist.

We will provide feedback regarding interviews in late January.
