The radiology department in Falun is in an expansive phase, and we have recently opened our new MRI section with an expanded 3T capacity. Our department also consists of CT, conventional radiology, intervention, ultrasound, and a nuclear part.

Specialist Physician Radiology Falun Job Responsibilities

As a radiologist in Falun, you are part of the medical team at Imaging and Functional Medicine Dalarna. In Falun, there are about 35 radiologists, including 12 residents and one sonographer. We continuously work to improve our work environment and patient safety and further develop the operation. We have recurring training in the form of external and internal courses, case meetings, and discrepancy rounds with other staff in the county.

With us, you will be employed as a general radiologist with the opportunity to specialize in some of our modalities. Your work will involve both urgent and planned activities.

The work is daytime Monday to Friday, with on-call and/or standby work in the evening, weekend, and night included in the position. During the night, you are only on standby, as we have primary on-call via remote review. The possibility of remote work exists by agreement. The form of employment can be discussed as we offer full-time as well as part-time and hourly employment.
