About the position

The PMI function in Huddinge has two medical units that conduct anesthesia and surgical operations as well as pre- and post-operative care. Our operations are extensive, highly specialized, and divided into various sections: Emergency, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Transplantation, Urology, ENT, Outpatient Surgery, and Upper Abdomen. We perform national assignments within some of these specialties.

We work in newly built, bright facilities equipped with the latest technology. We have made significant progress in robotic surgery and operate patients in most patient flows.

This advertisement pertains to a basic position as an operating room nurse with an appointment as a care leader. The care leader role involves operationally leading and planning the daily surgical operations within emergency surgery. You coordinate all emergency teams in the operating rooms, which includes all patient flows within gynecology, obstetrics, urology, transplantation, and upper abdomen.

As a care leader with us, you work closely with the nursing managers and other care leaders in the surgical department. Every third week, you will work as a care leader in the emergency team, with the remaining time spent on clinical work.

We utilize fixed 8-week schedules and easy weekend planning, which our employees appreciate. The position includes 2 shifts with work every fourth weekend.

A probationary period may be applied in this recruitment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room nursing
• At least 2 years of professional experience as an operating room nurse.
