Male Personal Assistant Needed for a 35-Year-Old Man in Mölndal, 80% and for Summer Substitute

Who am I?

I am a 35-year-old man living in Mölndal who appreciates humor in everyday life.

With humility, persistence, and a large dose of self-irony, I navigate life's challenges – and I believe that life becomes both more enjoyable and easier with laughter, even in difficult times.

I live with an acquired brain injury from a moped accident and need assistance in my daily life – around the clock – with double assistance (always two assistants at the same time).

I appreciate:

socializing and being in social settings
listening to music
going on small road trips
shopping and being interested in clothes
having quiet evenings at home (brain fatigue makes rest important)

I communicate with my eyes when you ask questions and have a clear body language that allows you to learn to understand me well over time.

About the position

You will be part of a larger workgroup with clear routines and good collaboration. The job involves some documentation.

Job responsibilities:

assistance with hygiene and daily routines
support during meals
handling of breathing equipment (training provided on-site)
transfers with a ceiling lift
handling of a power wheelchair

Attention to detail and good hygiene practices are very important.

Who am I looking for?

Personal suitability is the most important factor.

I primarily prefer a male assistant, preferably athletic and strong, as the majority of the team today is female.

Requirements and preferences

Good knowledge of Swedish is a requirement.
Experience as a personal assistant or in care/support is an advantage.
A driver's license is a plus but not a requirement.

Working hours

Assistants work in double assistance with varying hours. For this position, we are looking for someone who can work days, evenings, and every other weekend, according to a rotating schedule. Occasionally, single night shifts (awake night) may occur if needed.

For summer substitutes, the arrangement may look slightly different.
