Blomsterfonden – for a safer and richer life for the elderly

Blomsterfonden is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that the elderly have a safe home, professional care, and a meaningful everyday life.

We operate five senior residences with vibrant social communities, our own home care services, and four nursing homes where safe care is the focus. Our goal is to provide elderly people with a richer life – filled with community, care, and joy of life. Our work is permeated by our ethical values: humanity, participation, clarity, and honesty.

The association was founded in 1921 by Alma Hedin. Under her leadership, a special spirit emerged – the Blomsterfonden spirit – which still characterizes our operations today. We continue Alma's work by cherishing what is at the core of every human life: to see the individual's capacity, will, and emotional life.

Blomsterfonden also actively works to support relatives. We organize and participate in various forums to spread knowledge about the needs and life situations of the elderly.

We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist or physical therapist, preferably with experience in elderly care.

You will perform standard tasks such as physiotherapeutic assessments and treatments, as well as the testing and prescribing of technical aids. You will collaborate with the operations manager, nurse, occupational therapist, and other staff members in the care team.

As a physiotherapist/physical therapist, you will plan your work based on our residents, the care team, and the needs and wishes of the organization. You will educate and support our residents in participating in our training concept for the elderly - Äldre Power, which involves specially adapted training machines.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist or physical therapist, preferably with further education in dementia/geriatrics. Your pedagogical skills will be valuable in collaboration with the occupational therapist during training/guidance in transfer techniques. You are independent and responsible and have an easy time collaborating. We would like you to be a social and communicative person. In the recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. A relevant knowledge level in Swedish is B2 and must be demonstrated upon employment.

Blomsterfonden applies individual salary setting. The workplace is covered by a collective agreement.
