The area of operations (VO) for children and youth at Helsingborg Hospital includes the pediatric emergency department, children's ward, neonatal unit, day care, scheduled outpatient clinic, as well as play therapy and school. Within the area of operations, we are about 300 employees.

In the pediatric emergency department, we provide care for children and young people up to 18 years old. We receive acutely ill children and young people across all specialties. At the end of last year, we moved into newly renovated premises, and we are already enjoying it. We have many new colleagues, but we need a few more nurses. In the emergency department, we work together in teams consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors to provide children and young people with professional help at the right level of care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a nurse with us, you will work with assessment, prioritization, nursing, and treatment. You will be part of Helsingborg Hospital's care line for children and young people. We are a workgroup that enjoys being together, supports each other, and where no question is too small.

In addition to direct work with patients, we expect all staff to be active and involved in change work and in efforts to develop and improve care within our units. With us, you will be offered regular professional development and training. To ensure you feel secure in your work with us, you will receive an introduction tailored to your needs and previous experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. You also have language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. If you have specialist training focused on healthcare for children and young people or emergency care, it is an advantage, as is experience in pediatric care and/or emergency care. We see it as positive if you have experience in the surgical specialties within emergency care.

As a person, we see that you have a great interest in working with children, young people, and their families, and that you want to contribute to the development of the organization. You are flexible, enjoy working with others, and promote a good work environment. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability as we are keen to find the right people for the positions.
