Summer Temporary Position for Occupational Therapist at Stockholms Sjukhem

Stockholms Sjukhem offers specialized inpatient rehabilitation (neurological and surgical), as well as rehabilitation for patients with spinal cord injuries. Care is provided in multidisciplinary teams, where we work closely with both the patient and their relatives. Through collaboration, we develop ambitious, qualitative, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual in focus.

We are centrally located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

About the Role of Occupational Therapist

The tasks consist of the usual responsibilities of an occupational therapist on a ward and mainly include;

• assessment and mapping of activity and functional ability as well as follow-up
• ADL assessment and training
• provision and prescription of assistive devices
• if necessary, the occupational therapist and physiotherapist conduct home visits together as part of discharge planning

We work in a team-based manner, and in addition to contact with other occupational therapists, you have support from your other colleagues in the team such as physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, speech therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We use the TakeCare journal system.

The position is a full-time temporary position during the summer period of June-August, working hours 08:00-16:30. We apply individual salary setting.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist, perhaps you are newly graduated and want a safe and educational start to your career? Your personal qualities are important to us. You appreciate variety, switching between a team-oriented and individual working style. The position requires that you master the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing and have good computer skills.
