Physiotherapist - Summer Temporary Position at Stockholms Sjukhem

We are now offering you, as a physiotherapist, a stimulating and developing summer temporary position within inpatient care. A unique opportunity to get to know Stockholms Sjukhem as an employer. Stockholms Sjukhem offers inpatient specialized rehabilitation (neurological and surgical), as well as rehabilitation for patients with spinal cord injuries. Care is provided in multidisciplinary teams, where we work closely with both the patient and their relatives. Through collaboration, we develop ambitious, qualitative, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual in focus.

We are centrally located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

About the Role of Physiotherapist

The tasks consist of the usual duties of a physiotherapist in a department and mainly include:

  • assessment and mapping of activity and mobility ability as well as follow-up
  • training both individually and in groups
  • testing and prescribing assistive devices
  • if necessary, physiotherapists and occupational therapists make home visits together as part of discharge planning

We work in a team-based manner, and in addition to contact with other physiotherapists, you will have support from your other colleagues in the team such as occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, speech therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We use the TakeCare journal system.

The position is a full-time temporary position during the summer period from June to August, working hours 08:00-16:30. We apply individual salary setting.

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist, perhaps newly graduated and want a safe and educational start to your career? Your personal qualities are important to us. We want you to be communicative, maintain a high level of service, and be unpretentious in your approach to the world. You appreciate variation, switching between a team-oriented and individual working style. The position requires that you master the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing and have good computer skills.
