Welcome to Lycksele! In Lycksele, we work together to develop and take care of our customers in the fantastic countryside of Västerbotten's inland. Our operations consist largely of small animals, but we also see great development potential in field operations. The team consists of four veterinarians and two animal caretakers distributed between Lycksele and Vilhelmina. We are careful to ensure that all employees thrive, feel good at work, and have opportunities for development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a veterinarian at the District Veterinarians in Lycksele and Västerbotten's inland, you will work with both small animals in the clinic and farm animals and horses in the field. We have a well-equipped clinic in Lycksele with X-ray, ultrasound, lab, and surgical department (dental and soft tissue surgery) as well as a smaller clinic in Vilhelmina. We have a large heated garage for our two field vehicles. We are a relatively small clinic, and you need to be flexible and self-sufficient, open, and not afraid to pitch in where needed. A large part of our operations consists of emergency care; no day is the same. We desire a very good ability to collaborate as we together solve the clinic's tasks in the best way.

On-call duty is included as a natural part of the job for all animal species and is part of the District Veterinarians' mission.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed veterinarian. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage.

We wish for you to be engaged and solution-oriented in your work. That you are accommodating and attentive in your interactions to create a good customer meeting and provide the customer with a good experience with us.

Since our operations largely consist of emergency care, a good eye for prioritization and planning of work is required to create a good flow in the workday.

We place great importance on personal suitability, social competence, and are looking for an employee who values good collaboration and contributes to team spirit.

As we have ambulatory operations in the field, a B driver's license is a requirement.

Good knowledge of Swedish and good computer skills are also fundamental requirements.
