Welcome to us
Brommagården is a small dementia care home with 36 places for individuals with cognitive impairment.
Traneberg is a care and nursing home with 44 places for individuals with a dementia diagnosis.

Your role
You will work in a team closely with an occupational therapist, nurses, and other care staff. Your position is divided between Brommagården and Traneberg's care and nursing homes. Together with your occupational therapist colleague, you will contribute to ensuring that our residents receive person-centered, function-preserving care. You will provide guidance to care staff to support a health-promoting approach.
Your duties include standard tasks for a physiotherapist, such as assessments, follow-ups, prescriptions, and testing of assistive devices, assistive device management, and participation in walking and transfer training. Your role also includes being responsible for assessments, interventions, documentation, as well as guidance and training of care staff, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and other professional categories. Guiding students is also part of your assignment.
Your qualifications and experience
You are a licensed physiotherapist, preferably with a few years of work experience in elderly care.
You find it easy to collaborate with various professional categories and with relatives. You are confident and stable, with the ability to see the overall perspective in the organization when you work. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You are open to improvements and want to contribute to our collective development. You have a pedagogical ability and can teach when needed.

The employment is temporary, a fixed-term position until 2026-12-31. The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's skills and thus counteracting discrimination.
