Your Mission

As a purchaser, you belong to a unit within the department for operational support and are an important employee in the authority's centralized procurement process. We are a small growing unit that purchases and procures materials and services for the entire authority.

In the role of purchaser, you are responsible for executing orders through call-offs from existing framework agreements within assigned categories as well as for direct procurements in accordance with applicable laws, decisions, routines, and guidelines. The assignment also includes handling incoming orders and needs for materials and services by ensuring correct purchase orders, order confirmations, and follow-ups. Additionally, you are expected to actively contribute to improvement initiatives and participate in efficiency work in your role as a purchaser.

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• A completed three-year upper secondary education
• At least five years of documented professional experience in purchasing
• Good ability to navigate and work in purchasing systems
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• At least two years of experience as a purchaser in the public sector
• Experience with LOU (the Public Procurement Act)
• Experience with Unit4

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will be security vetted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a war situation.
