We are now recruiting for VEO a project manager for the head office in Västerås with experience from construction projects and a clear commercial focus.

Now, VEO is strengthening its Swedish organization with a project manager who wants to take a key role in the company's continued growth and contribute to developing both the business and project management in an industry that is crucial for the future's electrification.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of electrical power projects in total contracts from start to final delivery.

You have overall responsibility for time, finance, quality, and contracts. The role involves ensuring that the technical solution is feasible, meets customer requirements, and is delivered according to contract and schedule.

You will lead and follow up on the construction work in close collaboration with VEO's technical specialists.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Ensure that the technical solution is feasible according to schedule and budget

• Lead, distribute, and follow up on the construction work

• Be responsible for budget, forecasts, and financial follow-up

• Work with construction contracts, changes, and risk management

• Ensure that projects are conducted according to agreed terms

• Collaborate with sales in project development

• Maintain customer and supplier relationships

• Contribute to the development of working methods and processes

Travel is required for the position.

We are looking for someone with a solid project management background in construction or civil engineering and who is confident in taking full business responsibility in construction projects.

You have:

• Several years of experience in project management within construction or civil engineering

• Managed total or execution contracts

• Good knowledge of standard contracts such as AB 04 and ABT 06

• Had clear budget and result responsibility

• Experience in structured scheduling, financial management, and follow-up

• Familiarity with working with changes, risk management, and contract interpretation

• An interest in the energy sector and see this as a long-term career choice in a rapidly developing industry.

Experience from infrastructure, energy, or station projects is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We believe you are analytical, business-minded, and confident in dialogues where contracts, responsibilities, and boundaries are discussed. You understand how contracts, risks, and margins affect the overall profitability of the project – and act accordingly.
