About the position

We are now looking for experienced project managers for the Planning section within the Department of Line Projects, focusing on the planning and design phases for transmission lines.

The positions are located at our offices in Gothenburg and Västerås.

As a project manager within the Planning section, you will be part of a program organization and responsible for projects in the early stages related to transmission lines. You will represent Svenska kraftnät as the client and be responsible for the project's time, cost, and results. As a project manager, you will lead and guide the project team and the project's suppliers through the project's planning and design phases, and in some cases, the construction phase. During the planning and design phases, great emphasis is placed on permitting issues, stakeholder management, and technical investigations. You will also be responsible for procuring and leading consulting engineers and other expert functions. The role includes a significant amount of travel.

For those with more experience, the role may also include responsibility as the lead project manager, where you lead multiple projects simultaneously and coach other project managers within the program.

About you

Requirements:

Furthermore, you have a university degree in a relevant field for the position or equivalent experience acquired in another way. You also have:

• At least seven years of work experience as a project manager for large projects (budget > 100 MSEK) in energy, infrastructure, construction, or equivalent.
• Driver's license (B).
• Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of:

• Specific industry experience in overhead line projects, permitting processes, or handling landowner issues
• Work experience in or with the public sector. Particularly meritorious in a client function
• Work experience in procuring larger consulting assignments or contracts and good negotiation skills
• Work experience with the construction industry's standard contracts (e.g., ABT, AB, FIDIC)
• Work experience with AMA
• Project management certification, such as PMI/PMP or IPMA C
