We are now looking for two new site managers for operations and maintenance at our establishment in Fagersta. As a site manager at Svevia, you are the driving force in the operations and handle daily leadership. The focus of the work lies in planning, execution, and follow-up of assigned tasks with an emphasis on operations and maintenance work. The position includes summer and winter preparedness with the responsibility to call out snow plowing and ice control units.

You will also support the site manager in daily tasks such as customer contacts, production management, financial follow-up, and invoicing. No two days will be the same, and you have significant responsibility and freedom to independently plan your day based on the nature of the assignment and Svevia's working methods.

The position is full-time, and you will be based at Svevia's establishment in Fagersta. We apply a probationary period.

To be considered for the position of site manager, you should have:

• Experience in the industry with knowledge of operations and maintenance work or road and earthworks contracting

• A valid B driver's license

• Good computer skills and an interest in digital working methods and processes

• Strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is also advantageous if you have:

• Previous work experience in a managerial role

• Post-secondary education in construction, civil engineering, or water and sewage

• Previous experience with on-call duty and working evenings and nights

Svevia is currently Sweden's largest operations contractor. In operations and maintenance, we manage summer and winter road maintenance for half of the state road network. Many municipalities, private companies, and road associations hire us to take care of their roads and outdoor environments.
