JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a waste management worker, you will work at the Rödsta recycling center, and you will be part of a team of six people. You will primarily work with sorting and environmental information for customers at the recycling center.

Your responsibilities include:

• Receiving and assisting customers with waste sorting at the recycling center
• Informing customers about the recycling center's guidelines
• Ensuring waste is sorted correctly
• Keeping the facility organized and clean

The majority of the job involves outdoor work, and some evening work may occur.

Working hours:

Monday and Tuesday: 09:15-18:15 or 07:00-16:00

Wednesday to Friday: 07:00-16:00

The position is temporary from: 2026-06-15 to 2026-08-14

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is engaged, has an interest in the environment, as well as good collaboration skills and a high sense of service. To thrive with us and in the role of waste management worker, it is important that you are outgoing, appreciate a dynamic outdoor job, and are motivated to work in a service- and customer-oriented manner.

Customer contacts are the largest part of the daily work, and as a waste management worker, you have an important role as one of the municipality's representatives. A good attitude is therefore very important. You must be able to work independently and take your own initiatives, while it is also important that you can collaborate and communicate with others, both internally and externally. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The requirement for the position is ongoing or completed high school education. Experience from similar tasks or other service professions is an advantage. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You must be at least 17 years old.
