JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vehicle caretaker at Sollefteå Municipality, your primary tasks will involve managing the daily operations and handling of the municipality's vehicle fleet. You will primarily wash and clean the cars, perform minor service tasks such as tire and bulb changes, and handle damage claims. Tire hotel and tire changes for about 120 vehicles, including basic service.

You will mainly be based in the workshop, located in the Skärvsta area in central Sollefteå, but you will also be the link between the car workshop and the departments within the organization, which involves picking up and dropping off cars around Sollefteå Municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in the automotive field. Perhaps you have studied at the automotive and transport program in high school, or have previous work experience in the area? Regardless of your background, the most important thing is your passionate interest in vehicles and vehicle care, as well as your responsibility to learn what you need.

Since your tasks primarily consist of vehicle care, washing, and cleaning cars, it is important that you are meticulous and do not compromise on quality. In this role, you will have daily contact with people, mainly with colleagues within the organization - but also with some external contacts. Therefore, it is important that you appreciate meeting different people and are driven to deliver excellent service in all situations.

The fact that a workday can change quickly does not bother you, as you have a solution-oriented approach and can easily adapt, prioritize, and support your colleagues where needed. The work can sometimes be physically demanding, so it is important that you have relatively good physical fitness and enjoy working with your body.

A driving license (manual) and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required.
