We are now looking for a group of positive and flexible individuals who want to help with snow shoveling around Umeå this winter.

This is a part-time job where you step in as needed, which means you can be called on short notice and need to be flexible regarding working hours. Therefore, the position is perfect for you who already have a main occupation of at least 50%, such as studies or another job, but who want to supplement with extra income.

About the position:

The tasks include manual snow shoveling, ice prevention, roof shoveling, and removal of icicles. It is important that you feel comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. If you have a “Shovel Safely” certificate or fall protection training, it is an advantage, but not a requirement – we will ensure you receive the right information and training on site.

If you have previous experience in snow shoveling, it is a plus, but the most important thing is that you understand what the job entails. You need to enjoy physical work in all weather conditions.

We are looking for someone who is quality-conscious, meticulous, and wants to deliver a well-executed job. You have a strong safety mindset and use equipment and tools correctly to avoid injuries and accidents.

Requirements:

Another main occupation of at least 50%, such as studies or another job.

Meritorious:

Driving license B and a car, but not required. The important thing is that you can easily get to different workplaces.

Shovel Safely certificate or fall protection training

Working hours:

Daytime Monday–Friday from 07:00 to 16:00 with some flexibility.
