The IT Support operation within Region Västernorrland is tasked with providing a consolidated IT service delivery to our core operations - Regional Development and Health & Medical Care. Within IT Support, the IT Care Services unit is responsible for managing the IT components used by Health and Medical Care, in collaboration with the core operations. All IT components managed have a critical operational purpose and are fundamental to the care provided within the region.

We are now looking for a unit manager for the IT Support operation in Region Västernorrland. The location is Sundsvall, Örnsköldsvik, or Sollefteå and will be determined after dialogue with the recruiting manager.

Unit Manager for IT Support, Region Västernorrland

• Responsible manager for a team of approximately 15 people
• Annual budgets and financial follow-up
• Act as IT object owner for three objects within the framework of the system management model
• Be part of the IT management team and contribute your experience to the area's development
• Lead operational meetings in RVN's service governance model

We are looking for someone who

• Has a university degree in IT or equivalent knowledge in the IT field
• Has experience working as a manager with budget, personnel, and operational responsibility
• Has knowledge and experience in change management
• Has experience in managing critical operational systems
• Has experience in strategic work within IT
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• Holds a valid driver's license (B)

It is advantageous if you

• Have training in PM3, ITIL, project management, leadership, Agile methodologies
• Have work experience in the public sector
• Have experience working with IT in the healthcare sector
• Have experience in system management
• Have experience working with Agile methodologies
• Have experience working with procurement governed by LOU
• Have work experience in outsourcing with external operations
