Unit Manager at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency
Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We distribute approximately 260 billion SEK each year. Within this unit, we work both across departments and also provide support in financial matters to respective operational areas.
With the help of analyses, dialogues, and reporting support, we assist in the development of operations and recommend governance.
Develop the IT department's application of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's financial model. Promote that the department, despite differences in operations, can be analyzed as an IT.
Overall responsibility for the work with fee setting through ongoing monitoring of costs/income.
Analysis, Monitoring, and Close Leadership
As a unit manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit. You also represent the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in external collaborations.
Your unit consists of 12 employees who work with Controlling and are located in Sundsvall. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goals the department has set and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you support the area manager and are part of the area's management team, which consists of 3, where you contribute with your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

This is a permanent, full-time position, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required.
