Do you want to lead the development of the future Gripen simulators?

We are growing and are now looking for managers for the department's areas responsible for our development simulators and pilot and technician training products.

Your role

The Fighter Simulation & Support Systems (FSS) department consists of eight areas with product and operational responsibility. As an area manager, your work will involve a wide range where the operations are very varied and the work focuses on both long-term planning and operational implementation.

The Enabling Simulators area consists of eight sections responsible for the development and operation of our development simulators.

The Fighter Training Devices area consists of six sections responsible for the creation and development of our pilot and technician training systems.

The areas currently consist of about 100 employees distributed across six and eight sections respectively. You will sit in the management team for FSS and have close cooperation with other area managers and the department head to jointly solve the department's tasks in the best possible way.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience and a strong interest in leadership, where you see the importance of building a team and supporting and developing your managers & employees. You have a good ability to collaborate and a desire and drive to be involved in developing our operations. You have a technical education and background. It is an advantage if you have experience in simulation & product development of larger systems.

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities, and we expect you to be a curious, positive, and proactive person who enjoys working both in teams and independently.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
