The Preventive Unit for Adults consists of Senior Meeting Places, Personal Ombudsmen, Family Support, and Green Street. The Personal Ombudsman provides support to individuals with mental disabilities who need help coordinating contacts and influencing their life situation. Family Support offers conversations, groups, and activities to strengthen the well-being of relatives. Green Street is a meeting place for individuals with mental health issues. The senior meeting places offer social interaction, activities, and the opportunity to have lunch, all to strengthen community and well-being.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an engaged activity coordinator for Senior Meeting Places, located at the Hjortsberg Meeting Place.
As an activity coordinator, you will work together with colleagues and guests to plan, initiate, and implement activities that reduce involuntary loneliness and contribute to a meaningful everyday life.
You will also be involved in developing the meeting places of the future, where seniors' participation and engagement are at the center.
Your tasks will include:
- Planning and implementing daily activities and creating monthly programs
- Booking entertainment and speakers
- Ordering supplies and maintaining order in the operation
- Supporting and collaborating with volunteers
- Stimulating activities where seniors' own engagement is driving
- Contributing to development work and future design of the meeting places
Working hours are during the day, both weekdays and weekends.
The meeting places are located in Ätran, Morup, Slöinge, Ullared, Hjortsberg, and at the Mölle Meeting Place.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant high school education or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working at a meeting place or other social/preventive work is an advantage
- Experience working with volunteers
- Experience in change management and organizational development
- Good digital skills and familiarity with Office programs
- Understanding and experience using social media as a tool
- A social approach; you enjoy meeting people, see their needs, and want to make a difference in their everyday lives
As a person, you are driven, flexible, and solution-focused. You build good relationships and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. You are social, outgoing, curious, and eager to contribute to the development of the organization. You need to have a good command of Swedish in both spoken and written form. A B driver's license is required. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
