Skåne Stadsmission currently has over 125 permanent employees and about 275 private volunteers and 126 corporate volunteers, with a turnover of approximately 120 million SEK. We are one of ten members of the National Association of Sweden's City Missions, sharing values and brand platforms.

The activities of the City Mission are financed through IOP (Idea-driven Public Partnership), agreements, grants, project funds, sales of goods and services, and funds raised from companies and individuals.

Skåne Stadsmission operates Stadsmissionshälsan, which offers healthcare and dental care in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (1982:763) and the Dental Care Act (1985:125). Stadsmissionshälsan started in 2001 through a collaboration with Region Skåne and is now operated as an IOP (Idea-driven public partnership) together with Region Skåne. Stadsmissionshälsan currently has three clinics, located in Malmö, Kristianstad, and Helsingborg. The clinics are available on weekdays without holidays, are free of charge, and do not require an appointment. Our staff includes nurses, physiotherapists, dentists, doctors, and foot care specialists.

Stadsmissionshälsan is multifaceted as we work with a variety of target groups. This requires the ability and interest to work with people from different backgrounds and with various issues.

We are now further developing the operation and are therefore looking for a dentist. As a dentist at Skåne Stadsmission, you will have a varied daily routine and make a significant difference for each individual patient. Many of our patients are afraid of dental care, so it is important that you are empathetic and can handle individuals with mental health issues. It is crucial that you can adapt your approach based on the individual and have a value foundation in the equal worth and rights of all people.

You are confident in your professional role and have a good ability to find individual solutions for patients who may struggle with standard treatment flows. You understand that dental anxiety manifests itself in different ways and can meet the patient in the situation they are in.

The operations are permeated by Skåne Stadsmission's values, and all work is based on the needs and rights of the participants. The mission in relation to the individual is to see, alleviate, prevent, and change.

Your tasks will include:

• Providing dental care within the framework of Stadsmissionshälsan's mission.
• The main focus is emergency dental care and life-improving dental care. This means that most of the time you will perform emergency examinations, extractions, emergency endodontics (no permanent root fillings), filling therapy, and the production of acrylic prostheses.
• Referring to and contacting other healthcare providers.
• Actively participating in development work.

We are looking for someone with a Swedish dental license with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. You can communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as communication is important in this role. As a person, you are positive, creative, and can turn challenges into opportunities. You have the ability to work independently and feel secure in your professional role, with at least two years of experience in Swedish dental care. It is very important that you are self-sufficient and structured. A driver's license is required. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Desirable qualifications include:

• Extensive experience in prosthesis production
• Experience in mobile dental care
• Experience with the Muntra journal system

Employment scope

The position involves clinical work at both stationary and mobile clinics. We prefer that the employment is around 80%, but we can also consider hourly employment. Both the monthly employment and any hourly employment will have fixed hours and days. We see no problem with you having another job alongside your work at Stadsmissionshälsan.

You will work both on-site in Malmö, Helsingborg, and Kristianstad. We are based in Malmö.

Your employment will be with Öresund tandvård, but you will serve within Stadsmissionshälsan's operations.
