Here, you will lead improvement initiatives within the area of Tools & Instruments, ensuring that our processes are efficient and purposeful. The role also involves updating and maintaining standard documents and technical materials related to instruments, as well as reviewing documents in PLM2020 to ensure accuracy and compliance. How You Will Make a Difference

• Participate in development projects and monitor Tools & Instruments interests in R&D initiatives to ensure that instruments are deliverable throughout the product lifecycle.
• Define and monitor quality requirements, ensuring that the right maintenance documentation is produced and made available from development to delivery.
• Drive improvement initiatives and cost reductions in the technical and logistical areas.
• Support business development and long-term planning by facilitating standardization and orderability of equipment.
• Collaborate with users to decide on equipment changes that streamline work on-site, in consultation with the instrument forum NU/FS.

What Is Required

• A solid background in instrumentation and experience in handling complex technical issues.
• Proven ability to drive improvements and reduce costs in technology or logistics.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with various individuals and groups.
• A willingness to mentor new and less experienced colleagues in the instrumentation field.
• Advanced English is required to communicate effectively in the role.

About the Team

Tools & Instruments (T&I) is part of the Field Service organization and acts as a Site Support organization. We are responsible for procurement, maintenance, calibration, and delivery of equipment required for installation, commissioning, service, and measurements of gas turbines and steam turbines globally. T&I is a competence center for renting tools and instruments for our Medium Gas Turbines, as well as part of Steam Turbine and Heat Pump. The office consists of three departments: Workshop/Logistics, Order Administration/Planning/Technical Support, and Calibration/instrument. You will be part of the Technical support team, which currently consists of five employees.

Within the Gas Services division, we offer energy solutions with zero or low emissions based on our gas turbines gathered under one roof, along with steam turbines and generators. Through service, modernization, and digitalization of the delivered fleet, we create opportunities for a reduced carbon footprint.
