Storängsgården is located about two kilometers south of the center of Finspång.

Here, there are 72 apartments distributed over ten departments. The types of accommodation offered are nursing homes and nursing homes with a focus on dementia. We also have a nursing home department with a Finnish orientation. Our premises include a well-equipped activity room, café area, and sunroom. There is also a gym, hair salon, and assembly hall. We can also boast two beautiful inner courtyards with space for parties, activities, and socializing.

In addition to nursing assistants and care assistants, the staff includes several team leaders, specialist nursing assistants, and nurses. The residents also have access to doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and dental care as needed. In addition, there are therapy dogs and several external actors who enrich the residents' everyday lives with activities.

At night, you primarily work together with care assistants and nursing assistants and have access to a nurse if needed.

The working hours are primarily scheduled at night. Depending on needs or organizational changes, daytime and evening hours may also be relevant. Initially, you will be placed and introduced to the Storängsgården unit. In the long run, you are also expected to be able to work at more/other units if the need arises.

Your future tasks

You will perform customary care and support services for the residents of the facility. Your tasks include personal care, meal support, some social support, and delegated medical tasks. Also, service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.

You will also take on the role of contact person for one or more residents, which means that you are particularly responsible for listening to and meeting their individual needs and wishes, as well as establishing/updating implementation plans. You will document and work based on individually developed care and implementation plans in the operational system LifeCare.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in human interactions and who wants to help develop and future-proof elderly care in Finspång municipality. You are a flexible, responsible, service-oriented, and empathetic person who does your best to ensure that the municipality's residents receive good care and support. You work according to established routines and methods, as well as handle changes and unforeseen events. Independence and personal responsibility are central, but you also collaborate well with colleagues, licensed staff, unit managers, relatives, and others.

You have a positive attitude towards your work and approach challenges in a solution-focused and curious way. You also take responsibility for your own and your colleagues' work environment through good communication and interaction. We expect you to communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
