A nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone skilled in their profession who enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together with the team, including nursing tasks, rehabilitation, and management, we collaborate around the residents to provide a good life every day.

The specific competence of a licensed nurse is nursing. This includes both the scientific knowledge area and the patient-centered work based on a humanistic view of people. You are responsible for ensuring that our residents' health and medical care needs are met.

As a nurse, you are responsible for and lead the nursing work. This means independently, in team collaboration, and in partnership with the resident and their relatives, being responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. An important task is also to guide, support, and educate other nursing staff and be a good role model for your colleagues.

You work with care in everything you do, with great personal responsibility, and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial cooperation are of great importance in the assignment.

Stora Rospiggen is a pleasant generational home that shares premises with the preschool Lilla Rospiggen. We have a central location close to the city center and good transportation links. The residence has a total of 80 places, divided into 50 somatic places and 30 dementia places.

The building has its own kitchen where our chefs prepare homemade meals from scratch every day. Employees have the opportunity to purchase lunch boxes. At the top of the building, there is a lovely rooftop terrace with an adjoining orangery, a popular place for both relaxation and community.

The operation is Star Rated according to the Swedish Dementia Center, which means we work person-centered with a focus on high quality.

• We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse

• It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a nurse in elderly care

• You need to have good knowledge of health and medical care regulations

• You master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing

• We would like you to have knowledge of documenting based on ICF and KVÅ

• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations

Probationary period: we apply a 6-month probationary period

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
