We are a stable and well-functioning unit with 10,500 registered residents, operating in an area with a unique combination of multicultural urban life and Skåne's countryside. At the medical clinic, there are six (soon to be eight) specialists in general medicine and seven training doctors (AT, BT, and ST).

We have a multifaceted operation with clinics for district nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, dieticians, and occupational therapists. There are specialized nurse-led clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive impairment, and targeted health talks. There is also a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, elderly care clinic, lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone counseling and primary care triage, the initial care is smoothly handled by nurses with support from doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. In the waiting room, there is an interpreter and a service host.

Competence development is important to us, and we are open to trying new working methods. The operation develops dynamically in a fine collaboration between employees and managers. The collegial dialogue is highly prioritized with regular doctor meetings. Guidance and educational issues are close to our hearts, and we have undergone a SPUR inspection with excellent results.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role as a licensed physician includes, among other things:

• consultation with assessment and treatment of patients of all ages with all types of health problems that do not require resources within specialized healthcare,
• teamwork in rehabilitation issues and chronic medical conditions,
• a limited list responsibility with the opportunity to follow your patients over time,
• allocated time for guidance every week and daily access to a Question Doctor throughout the day,
• participation in days of competence development that you need.

The position is a fixed-term employment for six months with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you must be a licensed physician authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you must have language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.
