Region Stockholm is planning for Spårväg Syd – a new tramway between Flemingsberg and Älvsjö. Work is currently underway on the first phase between Flemingsberg and Skärholmen. Spårväg Syd is one of four major infrastructure investments within the framework of the Sweden Negotiation and is being implemented in collaboration with the state and affected municipalities.

The project is in the planning phase with a focus on system documentation, railway planning, and environmental permits. A decision on the location was made in the spring of 2025 with a supplement in 2026, and early consultation is planned for the spring of 2026. The project's current timeline extends to approximately 2037.

We are now seeking an experienced planning coordinator who will play a central role in driving and ensuring progress in the project's railway planning.

In the role of planning coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the work within the planning of Spårväg Syd. You will lead the sub-projects Plan, Sustainability, Permits, and Property and ensure that the work is conducted uniformly across the program's various projects, such as Track and Depot.

You will lead the work to ensure the formal planning process and the establishment of planning documents within railway planning, such as planning descriptions, planning maps, consultation documents, and planning descriptions. The role also involves managing formal consultations, external contacts, and ensuring coordination between the railway planning process and the detailed planning process.

You will act as the client representative in planning, contractual, and land access issues, be responsible for structured stakeholder management, and contribute to resource and time planning within the planning team in close collaboration with program and project management.

• Development and delivery of complete planning documents according to the railway planning process • Ensured progress in the formal planning process according to the overall timeline • Coordination between the railway planning process and the detailed planning process • Conducted and documented consultations with affected parties • Structured stakeholder management and authority dialogue • Uniformly conducted planning work between the program's various projects • Resource and activity plan for the planning team in line with the program's timeline

• At least 3 years of higher education in urban planning, land surveying, civil engineering, environmental science, or equivalent • At least 8 years of experience in driving, leading, and coordinating planning processes for road planning and/or railway planning or detailed planning within infrastructure or larger urban development projects • Documented experience in independently producing planning documents such as planning descriptions, planning maps, and consultation reports • Experience in a leading role in the development of railway planning • At least three years of experience working in a client organization within infrastructure or urban development • Experience in leading groups • Experience in coordinating between the railway planning process and the detailed planning process • Experience in planning, conducting, and documenting consultations with the public and authorities

• Experience in collaboration with municipalities and various operators • Experience from the planning and implementation phase within rail traffic-related projects • Completed project management training

You are attentive, strategic, and results-oriented with good communication skills. You work independently, drive the work forward, and are confident in representing the organization in external contexts.
