We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for our client's operations in battery technology, automotive industry, and electronics manufacturing. The role requires full on-site presence in Skövde and excellent communication skills in Swedish, as you will collaborate daily with production, quality, engineering, and management.

About the role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring stable and efficient manufacturing with high quality. The role is operational and close to production, with responsibilities ranging from the development of M-BOM to the optimization of End-of-Line testing and process automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement improvement work according to Lean Production and Six Sigma
• Conduct P-FMEA/FMEA and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Monitor and improve OEE and other production key performance indicators
• Work with Process Mapping and Value Stream Mapping
• Be responsible for and optimize End of Line Testing (EOL)
• Drive and develop process automation
• Prepare and maintain M-BOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials)
• Manage tool purchases and supplier dialogues
• Work according to principles of TQM (Total Quality Management)
• Contribute to data-driven improvements, including the application of machine learning in production

Qualifications

• Experience in battery technology, automotive industry, or electronics manufacturing
• Good understanding of industrial production requirements
• Experience in high-volume or precision manufacturing
• Familiar with working closely with production and shop floor
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Skövde
