About the role

As a product specialist in electricity trading with your own sales responsibility, you get a unique opportunity to be involved from the start and build Nätkraft Borås’ electricity trading operations from the ground up. The role is central in our establishment phase where you contribute with the electricity trading expertise and business understanding required for us to successfully launch and run our new business.

Your assignment spans both operational sales and strategic business development. You will work closely with our project group and other parts of the company to shape products, structures, and working methods that are robust, competitive, and sustainable for the future.

Your tasks include, among other things:

  • Building and driving sales in electricity trading towards corporate customers
  • Developing competitive electricity trading products and pricing packages
  • Working with pricing, forecasts, risk, and contract models
  • Contributing to shaping the culture and working methods in the growing organization
  • Creating a long-term sales strategy and establishing the company in the market
  • Collaborating closely with internal functions, partners, and customer groups

As a product specialist, you will play a key role in the company that combines commercial drive with deep industry knowledge and the opportunity to be part of developing a new business area. You will report to the sales manager.

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone who wants to help shape the future of electricity trading. The industry is rapidly changing, and a lot is happening right now - therefore, it is important that you are curious, brave, and want to drive development forward.

You have worked for several years in electricity trading and are confident and trustworthy in both customer dialogues and complex electricity trading deals. You are willing to take responsibility, drive projects forward, and have a good ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment. We believe you thrive in a role where you can use your expertise to help build a new business area from the ground up.

You have a strong ability to create good relationships, communicate clearly, and can navigate in a reality where business, technology, and social utility meet. You work independently with your own drive but also enjoy close collaboration with colleagues and external partners. We place great importance on your personal qualities and your willingness to contribute to both business development and the team’s collective success.

Requirements for the role:

  • Several years of experience in electricity trading
  • Ability to analyze customer data, market trends, and pricing structures to create relevant business opportunities
  • Experience in B2B sales of energy-related services
  • Experience in driving the entire sales process from prospect to contract and procurement
  • Good understanding of the various parts of the electricity trading process

Meritorious:

  • Experience in trading, portfolio management, risk management in electricity trading
  • Certified electricity trader
  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Experience working in BFUS
