Job as a Personal Assistant in Östersund
Personlig Assistansförmedling i Jämtland ABJämtlands län, Östersund
Previous experience is desired
Are you looking for one of the best jobs in the world? 🤩 A flexible job where you feel you are making a big difference for another person! A stress-free job? A job where you have many days off even though you might work up to full-time? Then you should apply for a job with us as a PERSONAL ASSISTANT!
We are currently looking for someone to work with a nice guy in his 25s living in Östersund (ref 29-26 which you should mention in your application so we know that this is the assignment you are applying for).
Your tasks will be to assist with what the man says he needs help with, which may include some personal care, certain transfers, and chores/activities both at home in the apartment and out in the community. The man enjoys video games, music, movies, his car (which staff with a driving license will drive), video games, and going to the gym, but he is also open to new suggestions on things to do. He is a night owl and not a morning person, so it is an advantage if you are too! He has a cat 🐈, so you cannot be allergic. If you have a dog 🐕, it can come to work with you - if you think it can get along with a cat, that is 😃
Working hours 📅 🕰️ are 6 days/month from 3 PM to 3 PM the next day with sleeping on-call duty and 2 double shifts where you work together with a colleague. There is a possibility to work extra either here or with another assistance user if you would like to 😃
It is good if you have previous experience with physical disabilities, care, and assistive devices, but it is not a requirement as you can learn such things quite quickly. The most important thing is that you get along with each other. Start date according to agreement.
PLEASE NOTE that you MUST be able to speak, write, and read Swedish fluently!
You will of course receive more information about the assignment during a possible interview!
Interested? Then apply now by emailing us and don't forget to mark your application with ref. no 29-26.
For all assignments with us, the following applies:
- thorough introduction and training before starting
- wellness allowance of 4000:-/year/full-time position
- regular staff meetings
- regular courses offered
- health check approximately every 3 years for those who wish
- free snacks at work
- collective agreement via Fremia - Kommunal, which for those over 40 years means a higher vacation compensation than what some other collective agreements have for personal assistants
- occupational pension via Pensionsvalet
- work injury insurance
- parental benefit supplement
- health insurance
- group life insurance via Afa for you and your family – also applies to our substitutes!
Please note that your application may be read by the assistance user as well as by staff at the office.
We will keep your application for a maximum of 2 months, after which it will be shredded. If you want your application back, please write that directly in your application/email! If you have applied before and are interested now - apply again!
About us:
PERSONAL ASSISTANCE AGENCY has been around since 1996 and is therefore Jämtland's oldest assistance company! Our office is located at Folkets Hus/OSD, Krondikesvägen 93 (the back side towards the racetrack) in Östersund. We have permission from IVO (the National Board of Health and Welfare) to conduct assistance operations as well as home care, and we naturally have a collective agreement (Fremia/Kommunal) for all our staff.
If you want to know more about personal assistance and/or about us - see our website: www.persassis.com, or our Facebook page or email Annika Andersson at [email protected] and she will call you back if you wish.
