We are currently looking for someone interested in working extra (by agreement from time to time) and preferably also to be a summer substitute for a lovely woman in her 40s living in central Östersund (ref. 3-26 which you should mention in your application so we know which assignment you are applying for). As a personal assistant, you will help the woman with routines and with what she says she needs help with both at home, out in the community, and at her workplace within daily activities. The woman walks independently, so assisting with transfers is not part of the assignment. She is active and wants to be outdoors every day; she enjoys listening to music, swimming, sauna, bowling, riding, dancing, go-karting, cuddling with dogs (maybe yours?), dining out, and joining you for other fun activities. With your help, life is full of possibilities!

Experience in care, visual impairment, autism, or other disabilities is a merit but absolutely not a requirement! The most important thing is that you enjoy each other's company! You must be smoke-free while working. The working hours are primarily overnight (morning to morning) with sleeping on-call or by agreement. Since the woman has her own car that the assistants drive, you must have a driver's license.

About us:

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE AGENCY has been around since 1996 and is thus Jämtland's oldest assistance company! Our office is located at Folkets Hus/OSD, Krondikesvägen 93 D (the back side towards the racetrack) in Östersund. We have permission from IVO (The National Board of Health and Welfare) to conduct assistance activities and home care, and of course, we have a collective agreement (Fremia/Kommunal) for all our staff!
