JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will meet many children and young people who are active in community life, and you will play an important role in creating safe and positive experiences for them.

The position includes scheduled work, including evenings and weekends, as well as some administration in our operational systems. You will work at several of our facilities within Gavlehov and the sports arenas, which means you need to be flexible and appreciate variety in your daily routine.

An important part of the job is also to handle technology related to events and operations, such as sound, light, and image equipment. This is particularly significant at facilities like Gavlehov, where digital technology is a central part of both operations and events. Experience or interest in such technology is therefore a great advantage.

Your responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of sports halls, grass, gravel, and artificial turf fields, athletics arenas, and ice rinks.
• Perform property-related services, including indoor and outdoor maintenance as well as cleaning.
• Carry out minor repairs of premises, equipment, and facilities.
• Work service-oriented with technical and practical tasks where problem-solving is an important part.
• Perform service and basic maintenance on the organization’s machines in collaboration with vehicle coordinators.
• Prepare and set up booked premises, halls, and sports fields together with colleagues.
• Manage and ensure the functionality of digital sound, light, and image technology during activities and events.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, you enjoy collaborating, meeting people, and creating a positive atmosphere around you. You are attentive, unpretentious, and have an easy time building relationships. At the same time, you work carefully, structured, and enjoy finding smart solutions when things change.

• Completed high school education, preferably a technical or practical high school.
• Experience working as a caretaker, property manager, or park worker.
• B driver's license (manual) is a requirement.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the role involves daily contact with visitors, associations, and colleagues.
• Good computer skills are required as we program sound and light via computers, which also includes controlling our TV screens.
• Desirable competencies: experience driving tractors, ice machines, and riding lawnmowers.
• Collaboration with community life and knowledge of natural grass is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and a service-oriented approach in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
