We are looking for someone who has the ability to turn ideas into action and who thrives in close collaboration with both colleagues and clients. With us, it is not crucial that you have all the answers from the start – instead, we value your curiosity, willingness to learn, and your commitment to complex and socially important projects, such as hospital projects.

To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe the following applies to you:

• You have an academic degree in civil engineering or equivalent
• You have a few years of experience as a consultant in structural engineering
• You have an interest in complex and socially important buildings such as hospitals
• You want to develop in an international environment
• You have good collaboration skills and want to share your experiences and grow together with your colleagues.

This is what you will do with us

Within the division, 17 structural engineers focus on healthcare buildings across all regions of Sweden. We work with local clients but also support assignments in other parts of the country. Project and development work is closely integrated with Ramboll's other structural engineers - a network of over a hundred experts who are more than happy to share their knowledge and experience.

The team is primarily based in Stockholm and Nyköping but contributes to projects all over the country and globally. Within Healthcare, we possess a broad and deep competence. We work on larger new constructions as well as smaller, medium-sized renovations. We participate in our projects from early stages and strategic planning to design, implementation, and construction follow-up.

As a structural engineer, you will work with:

• Design and dimensioning of load-bearing structures in complex hospital projects, both in early stages and in detailed design
• Development of structural solutions with high demands on functionality, robustness, flexibility, and lifecycle perspective
• Coordination and technical dialogue with other disciplines within the project, such as architecture, installation, and operational planning
• Collaboration with colleagues in our global hospital group, both nationally and internationally, as well as with colleagues in structural engineering and other business areas within Ramboll.
