The Role of Nurse at the Dialysis Clinic

Unit F is an outpatient clinic with 24 hemodialysis stations focused on utilizing the patient's self-care ability. The goal is to create engaged patients who can lead an active life with good quality of life despite chronic illness.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with an interest in building good and secure patient relationships. We are looking for someone who can complement our team, and focus will be placed on personal suitability. Whether you are newly graduated and new in your role as a nurse or an experienced nurse with solid experience, you can contribute to our operations.

The unit is an outpatient clinic with 24 hemodialysis stations. We work to increase patient participation, allowing the patient to manage all or part of their treatment themselves according to their ability and wishes.

As a newly hired nurse, you will receive a thorough introduction over 6 weeks with 2 experienced dialysis nurses to gradually become confident in both tasks and technology. During a work shift, you will be responsible for 3 patients, which creates good conditions for safe patient care and high quality.

You will work together with a colleague as we have 2 nurses per room, providing continuous support, collaboration, and security in daily work. You will have a special nursing responsibility for some patients and their long-term planning and treatment.

As a nurse with us, you will have a technical, stimulating, and independent job but are never alone.

Working hours are 06:45-15:30 or 11:30-19:30, and you work 2 Saturdays out of 5. The unit is closed on Sundays. Blood dialysis is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:45-19:30, and Tuesday, Thursday from 6:45-15:30, and Saturday from 6:45-15:00.

We apply a wish schedule. The position is a permanent employment, and you can choose to work 80-100%. Start date according to agreement.

If you are newly qualified, you will also participate in our advanced introduction program (RIU) for newly graduated nurses that lasts during your first year with us.
