The Role of Nurse at the Dialysis Clinic

Unit F is an outpatient clinic with 24 hemodialysis stations, focusing on utilizing the patient's self-care ability. The goal is to create engaged patients who can live an active life with good quality of life despite chronic illness.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with an interest in building good and secure patient relationships. We are looking for someone who can complement our team, and the focus will be on personal suitability. Whether you are newly graduated and new in your role as a nurse or if you are an experienced nurse with solid experience, you can contribute to our operations.

Since you will work closely with the patient, we believe it is important that you are good at building relationships to make the patient feel safe and involved in the treatment.

With us, you will work in a specialized care environment with long-term care relationships in a pleasant workplace with modern facilities and engaged colleagues and close leadership.

The unit is an outpatient clinic with 24 hemodialysis stations. We work to increase patient participation, where the patient, according to their ability and wishes, can manage all or part of their treatment themselves.

As a newly hired nurse, you will receive a thorough introduction over 6 weeks with 2 experienced dialysis nurses to gradually become confident in both tasks and technology. During a work shift, you will be responsible for 3 patients, which creates good conditions for safe patient care and high quality.

You will work together with a colleague as we have 2 nurses per room, which provides continuous support, collaboration, and security in daily work. You will have a special nursing responsibility for some patients and their long-term planning and treatment.

As a nurse with us, you will have a technical, stimulating, and independent job but are never alone.

Working hours are 06:45-15:30 or 11:30-19:30, and you will work 2 Saturdays out of 5. Sundays the unit is closed. Blood dialysis is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:45-19:30 and Tuesday, Thursday 6:45-15:30 and Saturday from 6:45-15:00.

We apply a wish schedule. The position is a permanent employment, and you can choose to work 80-100%. Start date by agreement.

If you are newly educated, you will also participate in our in-depth introduction program (RIU) for newly graduated nurses that takes place during your first year with us.
