Vallsjöskolan is a F-6 school located centrally in Sävsjö.

About 325 students attend the school, and there are approximately 55 staff members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a school nurse, you are a central part of the school's student health team and play an important role in preventive work and in supporting students to achieve their goals in school. You contribute with nursing competence and work closely with school management, teaching staff, and other professionals. You collaborate with guardians as well as with other organizations and authorities outside the school.

In your role as a school nurse, you will conduct individual health checks, perform vaccinations, and hold open clinics, documenting and following up on your work. You play an important role in preventive and health-promoting work regarding individual/group mental and social health. You have an important part in the school's work against bullying and absenteeism.

The work is carried out according to the national guidelines set by the National Board of Health and Welfare and the local guidelines decided by Sävsjö municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse. We prefer that you have previous experience working as a school nurse.
