Meal service today consists of five meal areas where our primary task is to provide service to our meal guests in preschools, schools, and elderly care. The work of Meal Service reflects Agenda 2030, focusing on ecological purchases, reduced food waste, climate-smart meals, and cooking from scratch.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want a varied and meaningful job where your cooking truly matters? We are now looking for an engaged cook for the kitchen at our elderly care facility in the Vättle area, Sävegården. Here you will have the opportunity to create delicious, nutritious meals that contribute to our guests' health, well-being, and quality of life every day.

As a cook with us, you have overall responsibility for the meal. You plan, prepare, cook, and serve high-quality dishes, always with the guest's needs and experience in focus. The work is varied and independent but takes place in close collaboration with colleagues and the organization as a whole.

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you have a culinary education or work experience that the employer considers equivalent. As a cook, you should independently perform all tasks in a kitchen, prepare special diets, and conduct self-control. You should also contribute to the development of the operation and ensure that set goals and guidelines are achieved.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Good computer skills and experience with dietary software and purchasing are advantageous. Since the job also requires documentation, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Experience is required.

A driver's license is advantageous but not a requirement.
