Do you want to develop in your profession and become part of an engaged team? In home healthcare, we work in nine different teams - four in rural areas and five in the central town. Each team consists of nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, and we also have nursing assistants and physiotherapy assistants working comprehensively.

As a nurse or district nurse in home healthcare in Vetlanda, you play a key role in meeting the patient's individual care needs - physically, mentally, socially, and culturally. The work is characterized by independence, but you are also an important part of a team where we support each other and grow together.

Your work mainly includes nursing tasks, and you have overall responsibility for the nursing assistants' care efforts. You collaborate closely with primary care physicians through the municipality's health centers and actively contribute to creating safe and quality care.

Your tasks include:

• leading, prioritizing, and coordinating care work based on the patient's needs
• assessing medical needs
• organizing and initiating doctor contacts
• following up, documenting, and assessing self-care
• prescribing and managing medications and aids

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has a professional approach, and adapts easily to different situations. With a good sense of structure and planning, you organize and prioritize your work effectively.

With us, you have the opportunity to influence your working hours through self-scheduling. Our nurses work every fifth weekend and have about 1-2 evening shifts per five-week period.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably a district nurse.
• You have a B driver's license.
• We place great importance on personal qualities.
• Criminal record extract.
