Do you want to work in a stimulating and developing environment where the patient is always at the center? We are looking for a nurse for the neurology clinic in Lund for a temporary position, where you will be an important part of a professional and caring team.

The neurology clinic in Lund is a large specialist clinic and our diagnostic groups include MS, epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, Parkinson's disease, brain tumors, ALS, and Huntington's disease. The operation is based on teamwork between doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation staff, and secretaries. The nurses working here at the clinic have different team affiliations and become experts in their respective areas, this expertise is shared with colleagues in the neurology department's inpatient wards through good collaborations across care levels. The development of neurological treatment is progressing rapidly, and a lot of research is conducted in neurology at Skåne University Hospital. New guidelines are being developed both nationally and locally.

We are looking for a nurse for our neurology clinic in Lund! There is a need for reinforcement in the nursing group within medication treatment, day activities, and telephone counseling, and we welcome you who want to contribute and make a difference during the summer period.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The operation includes a treatment unit that offers regular medication treatments for patients with various diagnoses. Within the clinic, there is also a unit that receives patients who need urgent day care assessment or investigation.

The responsibilities include independent work in the treatment unit, focusing on medication treatments primarily for patients with neuromuscular and neuroinflammatory diseases. The work also includes day care and telephone counseling for our patients, in close collaboration with doctors and rehabilitation staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have knowledge of Swedish, at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. If you have experience in outpatient work, this is an advantage, as well as if you have experience in counseling and treatment experience in neurology.

As a person, you are genuinely interested in people and find outpatient care enjoyable. You have worked as a nurse for some time and are independent and structured in your work approach. We also believe that you enjoy collaborating in a team. Furthermore, you are a person with personal maturity and are secure in your professional role. We would like you to have a forward-thinking attitude with an interest in development and learning, but it is also essential to have an interest in long-term relationships with patients and their relatives.
