Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we tailor our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Your mission

We are looking for someone who enjoys varied clinical work and has an easy time collaborating and discussing with colleagues across all our professional groups. As a physician, you will receive support from colleagues, a varied work environment, and the opportunity to develop and be challenged medically. Your tasks will include outpatient work with scheduled visits, minor acute visits, and assisting colleagues and students with your knowledge.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physician with Swedish credentials. You have an interest in specializing in general medicine or are interested in broadening your experience before your specialist training. The assignment includes continuous supervision with our specialists in general medicine.

You are a good communicator in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively, and to be successful in the job, you need to be flexible in your working methods. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Our operations

Tierp Health Center is located between Uppsala and Gävle with good commuting opportunities. From Uppsala, both trains and buses run every half hour during rush hour. The health center is within walking distance from the station. We have approximately 19,450 registered patients and about 100 employees working in teams with all services within the health center's mission, including the emergency reception. Our patients are both young and old and live in Tierp and the surrounding rural areas.

The health center belongs to the administration of Close Care and Health in Region Uppsala. We want you to thrive and develop with us.
