Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by the individual being at the center to meet the individual's needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

The home healthcare in Motala Municipality consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants. We work in teams together with elderly care, LSS operations, and daily activities for the benefit of our citizens.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a nurse for municipal health and medical care with a mission within the on-call service, which involves working daytime, evenings, and every other weekend.

The on-call service is based at the address Södra Allén in Motala. Work during on-call hours includes both planned cases and unplanned assessments as well as interventions from healthcare partners. As a nurse in the on-call service, you will meet patients both in ordinary housing and special housing.

Working in the on-call service is a perfect job for you who enjoy challenges, varying workloads/tasks, and appreciate independent work. No day is the same.

It is a varied and exciting mission with good opportunities for personal development. You will make independent assessments and lead and perform health and medical interventions.

You will plan measures and carry out follow-ups, manage medications, infusions, and medical technical equipment. You will plan the work based on the individual's conditions and needs. You are an important contact for primary care and specialist care.

We are looking for someone who wants to work evenings and weekends with us. We offer you, who want to be available for us during these times, a lower full-time measure of 33.25h/week.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with experience.
• You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and spoken, as the work involves a lot of patient and relative contact as well as record-keeping and other documentation.
• You must have a B driver's license for a car with a manual transmission.
• You have the ability to distinguish between matter and person and can feel secure even in uncertain contexts.
• You do your best by doing what you can right now. You quickly find solutions to arising problems.
• You find it easy to adapt, develop, and learn new things according to changing requirements, conditions, or circumstances.
• You see opportunities in changes and can also change your perspective and approach.
