Property Technician?

One of our rock-solid property managers is retiring and needs to be replaced.

Are you a technical doer who enjoys working with people? Do you get excited about the idea of acting for tenants to ensure they are satisfied with their homes? We are now looking for a replacement for one of our skilled property managers who is retiring. Someone who wants to take care of our buildings and create security and comfort in the daily lives of our tenants in Kortedala!

Do you have experience as a property technician, property caretaker, craftsman, or other similar roles and are attracted to working independently at the city's largest housing company where you have a lot of freedom under responsibility? We are now looking for another practical and service-oriented property manager to join our team.

You start each morning at the office before heading out to the properties where you ensure everything is clean and tidy inside and around the buildings and address service requests from tenants. One of your most important tasks is to facilitate for the tenants by being part of the solution. Regular inspections of the properties are another important part of the job, and you address issues that are discovered and ensure zero tolerance for insecurity. Other tasks include apartment inspections, as well as purchasing materials and reviewing invoices. You will be responsible for several properties with apartments, but commercial premises may also be involved.

The role is broad; no two days are alike – what permeates the job is sustainable management of the buildings with teamwork and tenant satisfaction in focus. The goal is for our apartments to be managed in a long-term and cost-effective manner, in close dialogue with the tenants.

Fair, handy, proactive, and attentive with a community interest

The property manager is our face to the outside world, so you must enjoy working with people. You have a social ethos, are clear, engaged, and pleasant, and understand the importance of following up with tenants and suppliers. In addition to a high school diploma, we want you to have documented education and/or work experience in the property technical field. We expect you to have a driver's license.
