Description

The Infrastructure Department within the municipal executive office is responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of streets, roads, water treatment plants, water pipelines, parks, green areas, and recreational facilities, as well as waste management.

We are now looking for seasonal workers for the park operations.

Job Responsibilities

You will work with the maintenance and upkeep of parks and green areas, mainly in the form of mowing green spaces within Vännäs and Vännäsby. Examples of tasks include lawn mowing, maintenance of gravel paths and playgrounds, flowerbed care, cleaning, trimming, tidying, and other related tasks.

The placement is at the municipal storage facility, and you will have a lot of contact with both citizens and staff in various operations.

Qualifications

The work is varied and requires a high degree of independence, good flexibility, and teamwork skills. You enjoy meeting people and have good social skills.

A B driver's license is required. Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is also necessary, as you will undergo a safety training as part of the employment. Previous experience in the park area is also an advantage.
