Description

The Infrastructure Department within the municipal executive office is responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of streets, roads, water and sewage, parks, green areas, and recreational facilities, as well as waste management.

We are now looking for summer workers for park operations.

Job Responsibilities

You will work with the care and maintenance of parks and green areas, mainly in the form of mowing green areas within Vännäs and Vännäsby. Examples of tasks include lawn mowing, maintenance of gravel paths and playgrounds, flowerbed care, cleaning, trimming, tidying, and other related tasks.

The placement is at the municipal storage facility, and you will have a lot of contact with both citizens and staff in various operations.

Qualifications

The work is varied and requires good flexibility and teamwork skills. You enjoy meeting people and have good social competence.

For some positions, an AM license is required, and for these, fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement, as you will undergo safety training as part of the employment.

We are looking for you who are 16 years old or will turn 16 during 2026.

For some positions, a B driver's license is required.

Conditions

Temporary employment with hourly pay.

You specify in your application during which periods you wish to work. The periods consist of 4-5 consecutive weeks between June 15 and August 14, 2026.
Period 1: June-July
Period 2: July-August
