During the period from May to October 2026, we need reinforcement of a gardener with a feel for plants and an eye for detail. Hiring is ongoing, so do not wait to apply.

As a seasonal gardener or garden worker, you will help take care of our green cultural heritage and see how the park-like environments of the cemeteries change throughout the season. A fantastic job for those who enjoy working outdoors and love gardening.

Your tasks will include planting and caring for perennials and summer flowers, weeding, hedge trimming, pruning, and lawn mowing. We also take care of the green areas around the parish churches and in Klockarbacken, the parish's and Sävar's outdoor living room with cultivation plots, play areas, and an outdoor stage.

You will have all of the parish's cemeteries as your workplace, and the position may include some supervision of summer staff.

We are looking for someone with gardening education or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience from, for example, a cemetery or park. Experience with and certification for relevant machinery used in park work is an advantage.

You are committed, meticulous, and able to work well both independently and in a team. It is also important that you are positive and can handle stress well. Since we meet people in both joy and sorrow at the cemeteries, it is important that you have a simultaneously professional and humble approach.

A driver's license with at least a B category is required. Good physical condition is needed as the work can be physically demanding at times. You must be at least 18 years old at the start date of employment.

Scope & Duration

Full-time from May 4 to November 6, 2026, or by agreement.
