Store Associate at Coop Västervik (Allén)

We are currently seeking a new employee for our store Coop Västervik (Allén). We want you to have a good initiative and a positive energy that is contagious, see the customer's needs, and deliver the best customer service in the industry with pride and joy.

As a person, you are creative and are happy to come up with suggestions and ideas, and you find it easy to work in a team. You have an eye for detail and the commitment to create a welcoming, selling, and inspiring store. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to continuously develop and streamline both the business and yourself.

You will primarily be placed in our fruit and vegetable department, but you will also work with all common tasks in the store, such as:

• Working at the checkout
• Restocking shelves and facing products
• Building displays on sales tables and ends
• Working with waste and loss
• Conducting quality controls
• Keeping the store clean and tidy

Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store, and for you, the customer is number one. You find it easy to create long-term customer relationships and have the ability to inspire customers to enjoy shopping. You thrive on being active and working physically. Since the position is primarily in the fruit and vegetable department, you must be able to handle heavier lifting. Working in a store offers you a varied job at times with a high tempo, and it is important that you feel comfortable handling stressful situations.

Previous experience in grocery retail and working with fruits and vegetables is highly meritorious, but personal suitability is equally important to us at Coop.

The position is a permanent employment of 25 hours/week with a start date of March 1, 2026, or by agreement. We apply a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement
• Must be at least 18 years old to work independently at the checkout
• Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions is meritorious
• Previous experience working with fruits and vegetables is highly meritorious
