Our offer to you

The PTP program in Region Jönköping County is a solid program that was launched in 2000. Since then, the program has developed into one of Sweden's best PTP programs. We have PTP positions throughout the county and meet every month for lectures and workshops with knowledgeable speakers and experienced psychologists. Once a year, all supervisors are also invited to an event we call Mentors' Day.

Working as a PTP psychologist in Region Jönköping County gives you freedom with responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring that you complete the tasks that fall within the framework of the PTP position. The operations are careful to ensure that time is allocated for other psychological work and appreciate initiatives that promote the development of the organization. Workplaces take into account the PTP psychologist's need to find their professional identity and provide time for development, further education, and opportunities for lectures and courses. Participation in various psychological meetings is also included for the PTP psychologist to become comfortable in their professional role, allowing them to meet experienced psychologists and gain insights from their perspectives and knowledge.

If you are interested in how your PTP colleagues are doing, there is of course also the opportunity for study visits to other operations. The start date for your PTP service is determined together with the relevant manager. The PTP program has no fixed start and end date; it is a rolling schedule that all new PTP psychologists join. This means that you will meet PTP psychologists who are at the beginning of their training employment, as well as those who have been involved for a bit longer.
