Do you want to help shape some of Norrbotten's most exciting construction projects? At Peab Anläggning, you will play a key role in community building – where your expertise makes a difference every day. We are now looking for a cost engineer focused on land, construction, and infrastructure to join our team in Luleå.

About the role

As a cost engineer, you will be a central part of our projects, from the initial idea to the completed bid. You will drive the cost estimation work independently and ensure that our solutions are both competitive and sustainable. The role involves close collaboration with site managers, project managers, and designers – and you are often involved in the early stages to influence the project's design.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents and produce complete cost estimates and bids

• Perform quantity calculations, price, and time assessments

• Evaluate technical solutions and identify risks and opportunities

• Support projects in cost and budgeting issues

• Collaborate with purchasing and contribute to efficient production solutions

We are looking for someone who has

• A technical university degree, preferably a civil engineer, or equivalent experience

• Experience as a cost engineer in construction

• Good computer skills and experience with estimation tools

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical descriptions, and quantity lists

Meritorious:

• Experience from industrial projects

• Knowledge of class 1 concrete

• Experience in purchasing and a good understanding of production

You are analytical, structured, and have an eye for detail. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys collaborating and communicating clearly. You like to find solutions and have a business-minded approach that allows you to see the big picture.
