The County Hospital Somatics coordinates specialized somatic care in Region Västernorrland. The somatic area consists of eleven county healthcare services. These services are provided at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, as well as several clinics located in various towns in the region. The area has approximately 2,400 employees.

The Eye County Service, which is part of the county somatic care, provides specialized eye care for the residents of the region. We have full outpatient services at three locations: Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. We also have limited outpatient services in Härnösand. Our mission is to investigate, treat, and operate on diseases of the eye and surrounding areas. In total, we are just under 100 employees in the region, where several professional categories work closely together with the patient at the center.

We are now looking for a resident doctor (ST-läkare) for the eye clinic in Sundsvall. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.

We are now seeking a licensed physician for a residency position who wants to join our team and be part of the continued development of our services in Sundsvall. You will receive a structured training program focusing on practical clinical skills. As a resident doctor at the eye clinic in Sundsvall, you will have a varied job with friendly colleagues. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with evening and weekend on-call duties rotated between Sundsvall, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. Day shifts are Monday to Friday.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed physician
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you

• Have worked as a junior doctor at an eye clinic
