Main Mission

The purpose of the Community main mission is to increase residents' quality of life and their ability to influence their living conditions. Together, the activities of the main mission create conditions for good health, an attractive, accessible, and vibrant urban environment, countryside and nature, a safe and healthy indoor and outdoor environment, a rich supply of culture, sports, leisure, and good infrastructure.

At Åshagas service house, located in Hjärnarp, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared and served seven days a week at the residence's communal restaurant. Deliveries are made to Bokhöjden and to one department in the residence. The kitchen serves food to about 60 guests. Meal service strives for high quality and prepares food from scratch with carefully selected ingredients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a leading chef, you have overall responsibility for the daily operations in the kitchen, which includes orders, self-control, planning, cooking, as well as budget responsibility and of course all other tasks occurring in the kitchen. You are a clear communicator with the ability to convey the organization's message in a constructive, informative, and positive manner. You are flexible and service-oriented and always put the guest first. As a leading chef, you ensure that the unit's quality and delivery occur according to economic frameworks, agreements, routines, and policies.

You have a great interest in preparing tasty and nutritious meals and believe that good service and proper treatment are important. You have the ability to make independent decisions within the framework of your assignment.

As we work in several IT systems, we are looking for someone with good computer skills and knowledge and experience in various Office programs. Experience with the dietary software Mateo or similar systems is an advantage.

The position is 100% Monday to Friday including holidays, with a full-time measure of 38.25 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, we are looking for you who are a trained chef with experience in public or private restaurant operations. You are proactive, solution-focused, and have good collaboration skills. You show a great interest in food and people and strive to convey the best dining experience as a whole. You can lead both yourself and your colleagues with the guest's best interest in mind. You have good computer skills and communicate well in Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Interviews will be held on the following dates: March 10 and March 12.
